Brett Chynoweth, Soloist with The Australian Ballet took us on his artistic journey as recipient of The Walter Bourke Prize. Brett had the unique opportunity to perform in Carlos Acosta’s new version of Don Quixote and Macmillan’s Romeo and Juliet. He also worked with NDT in class and rehearsal experiencing works by Kylián. Later a visit to the Paris Opera, and The Forsythe Company. The Walter Bourke Prize has not been awarded since 2009 and we were proud to have Brett as the Ballet Society’s guest speaker.
